Memorial Scholarships are established to honor and memorialize loved ones who have passed away. Donors and/or family members determine the granting criteria for each scholarship. Applicant names are removed from the applications, and a volunteer committee chooses which applicant best fits the scholarship criteria.
BCS Foundation Scholarships
BCS Foundation offers several tuition assistance scholarships for students enrolled in Saint Francis and Billings Central Catholic High School. Scholarship applications will be available February 2021 for the 2021-22 school year. Recipients will be announced in June of 2021.
Ann Millikan Memorial Scholarship
2021-22 School Year Current junior students attending Billings Central Catholic High School are eligible to apply for the Ann Millikan Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship applications can be found by clicking the link below, at the BCS Foundation office, or at any BCS school office. Applicants must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA and be involved in extracurricular activities within the school and/or the Billings community. Application deadline is May 15, 2021. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Recipients of the Ann Millikan Scholarship will be notified by mail on or before June 30, 2021.
Foundation Scholarship Application
2021-22 School Year Scholarship applications can be found by clicking the link below, at the BCS Foundation office, or at any BCS school office. The application deadline is May 15, 2021. Only complete applications will be accepted. Applicants will be screened for eligibility, and award winners selected by the BCSF Scholarship Committee in a blind review. Recipients will be notified by mail on or before June 30, 2021. Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a handwritten thank you note to the donor, in care of the BCS Foundation, by August 30, 2021 or risk having the scholarship revoked. St. Pius Father Steve Tokarski Memorial Scholarship
2021-2022 School Year Scholarship applicants must be registered parishioners of St. Pius X Parish and registered through the Billings Catholic School System to attend St. Francis Catholic for the 2021 – 2022 school year. Instructions are listed on the back side of the application for additional information which needs to be supplied with the application. All scholarship applicants must sign, date and return the application, along with the indicated additional information, to the parish office, by 5:00 pm, on April 16, 2021. By signing the application the applicant agrees to permit the release of his / her academic and biographic information to outside agencies if they are selected to receive the scholarship. Applicant understands that the award of this scholarship is at the complete discretion of St. Pius X Parish.
St. Patrick Co-Cathedral George Friesen Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship applicants must be registered through the Billings Catholic School System to attend St. Francis Catholic or Central High School for the 2021-2022 school year. Financial need and students who are active in St. Pat’s parish will be the primary consideration for applicant selection. All scholarship applicants must sign, date and return the application by April 15, 2021. Applicant understands that the award of this scholarship is at the complete discretion of St. Patrick Co-Cathedral Parish.
